"I was a member at many gyms.  I would pay for the membership each month but never found the motivation to go.  The times I did go, I found that I wasn't getting the results I wanted.  I was very insecure about my body and didn't like the way I looked.  I tried putting myself on many diets, but I just couldn't stick to them. 

 

It was recommended to me that I get a personal trainer.  I am so glad that I did.  Brendan is awesome.  It if wasn't for the training and nutrition, I would probably be in the same position I was before.  Brendan is also my nutritional counselor.  I have had amazing results.  I am so much happier with myself and my body.  Brendan makes the training fun, but at the same time gets me the results I want.  He keeps me motivated to come to the gym.  As a result I come to the gym 5 times a week  I have lost 23 lbs and my body fat was reduced from 32% to 12.1% over a 4  month period.  I went from a size 9 to a size 3.  I couldn't have done it on my own.  Getting a personal trainer/nutritionist has been the best thing for me.  I look forward to my training sessions with Brendan.  The gym and training has become a huge part of my life.  I am more confident and secure about myself now.  I look forward to continuing my training and getting more results.

"I began what seemed like an impossible journey back in November 2003.  As an obese young woman trapping my then 25 year old personality in a 320 pound body,  I started on my rejuvenating path with Brendan.  Although somewhat intimidated at first I soon felt comfortable and knew that Brendan could help me achieve my goals.  With training and nutrition sessions underway I started to see results in a very short amount of time.  Brendan's constant encouragement and faith in me drove me to work harder than the time before!  Without his enthusiasm and knowledge I know I would not have been able to lose 85 pounds  in the first 7 months, and then another 28 pounds in the 3 months to follow,  dropping me to a weight of 212 pounds by July 2004.  My journey is not finished as I still have more to come loose and more toning to be satisfied with my body, but I know Brendan has impacted my life in a way no other has.  I am truly grateful for the strength and wisdom Brendan has shared with me during this life changing adventure.

"I initially started training with the intentions of losing weight and increasing my strength and endurance for dirt bike racing.  Then I found out the truth-I needed help!  Initially I thought working out might be boring, but my personal trainer Brendan was really motivating and enjoyable to work with.  We shared lots of jokes and stories that made the training sessions really fun, and something I would look forward too.  In fact, some days I remember hurting more from laughing than from exercise!

Brendan was also giving me nutritional guidance, and I benefited by learning how to eat properly to get maximal results from my training.  I also received a program that was easy to follow, and based on the foods I actually enjoy eating!

 

In my 4 months working with Brendan, I've lost 35 pounds, and my body fat was reduced from 29.7% to 12.7%.  Basically, I used to be fat and now I'm skinny!  I've also experienced increases in my strength and endurance.  I really like the way I got results so quickly and safely.

 

Not only did I achieve my goals and more, but I also had fun getting there.  In addition, I find that training has helped me in my daily routine, as I find my job less fatiguing.  And there's still more benefits to come, because now I look forward to my most successful season of dirt bike racing!

"My name is Megan, and I was in a bad car accident which caused me to have serious injuries.  I was in a coma for 3 weeks, and when I awoke all the muscle in my body was next to nothing.  I broke my femur, and now have a rod in my leg with three screws.  I also had a lung problem which was called ARDS (Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome).

 

My Doctor told me that I needed a personal trainer and to be in the gym the rest of my life to keep my muscles strong as well as my leg and lungs.  I started with Brendan Fox not long after my accident when I was up on my feet again using a cane.  I used a cane with Brendan for the first few times because my leg was still too weak to walk without and I needed support to help me out.   It was about a week and a half, maybe two weeks and I was walking without one because of Brendan. 

 

He was a very inspiring trainer who helped me get through the pain of my leg and get myself strong.  He is very compassionate with his work, and knows what he is doing.   He figured out 4 or 5 different places in my body which muscle was wasting and fixed it with stretches and exercise to put my body back in alignment.  In just two months I had lost 11% of my body fat and gained quite a bit of muscle.  He is also a very fun trainer to work with which makes it easier on who he is training because you have a good time, which makes you not think about the pain.  If I was able to recommend a trainer for people to have it would be Brendan Fox."

"I am a real estate broker and was experiencing difficulty walking up the stairs because of problem knees and shortness of breath.  My blood pressure was very high and necessitated monthly monitoring visits to my family physician. 

For the first few months I only participated in group aqua fitness.  I persevered at this until eventually Charmaine, the instructor, encouraged me to attempt other aspects of working out.  I knew I had to engage the help of a personal trainer.

 

I have been working out ever since with personal trainer Brendan Fox.  He is a most remarkable young man who has been training, encouraging and cajoling me in this wonderful world of fitness training.  He has provided me with an integrated education system to help me make changes in my life to achieve optimal health on all levels.  His extensive nutritional knowledge has completely influenced the way I approach the tasks of grocery shopping, preparing meals and of course eating.  And in addition to doing Russian Kettlebell training and kickboxing workouts twice a week with Brendan, I also participate in spinning, power abs, and core classes.  On, and by the way, I'm 65 years old!

 

After just one year, my body fat has gone from 38% to 19.6% and my weight was reduced from 165 lbs to 134 lbs.  My clothing size has shrunk from size 16 to size 8!  With Brendan's constant encouragement, I have completely turned my life around.  I no longer have high blood pressure and my endurance level seems endless...Thank You Brendan Fox!

-Realistic nutrition counseling with one "cheat" per week was effective
